Eaten by worms, it had broken down. Major repair involded adding new rails and corner braces.

Discoloration, broken tablet and loose feet. Restoration included restaining of the top hide, glazing or the wood and four coats of water based polyurethane.

A tripod stool foot was broken. A new tenon was inserted through the seat. However, a slit of the original leg was kept and reglued to hide the repair.
